Deux - French Synth from the 1980s

I've been playing this for the past week. All I know is that its a french group from the 80s with the most sublime synth pop. They have a re-issued album out on Minimal Wave (on lovely vinyl!) called decadence which you also download from itunes.
I've found so little about them on the web. Anyone have any info?

I recommend the song 'Felicita'

Even FNAC is selling vinyl

As CD sales fall its funny how major retailers who for years had no vinyl are now selling a (limited range) of LPs and various vinyl related products such as portsnle turntables. Even FNAC in Barcelona has a couple of hundred albums. Today I abandoned my purchase there again when I found all cash registers with at least 6 people in line. I hate queuing.

The Human League - Night People 12 vinyl

The only vinyl release from the new Human League album Credo which I've come across is the Night People 12 (not my favorite track). Saw them at Sonar last month, first time ever. It was so great to see a band I've been a fan of for 30 years, finally in the flesh!

OMD -History of Modern - 2 LP with CD

The new OMD album is also available on double vinyl with a CD of the album included. What a year its been so far in terms of 80 s synth bands,


with great new albums from OMD, the Human League, John Foxx and the Maths, Blancmange.

Anyone seen either Credo or the Blancmange album on vinyl?

Mirrors - Lights and Offerings on double vinyl LP

The first album from Kraftwerk offspring (no not really) is available on double vinyl from Skint Records. I saw them play support recently to OMD in Barcelona, Sala Apolo. I must put up a video. It was funny to see them having to remove their own gear before OMD came on, no roadies yet. Great new band, wonderful sound. They'd be huge if it was 1981 again.

Harry Nilsson

I must admit that I knew very little about Harry Nilsson until I saw the movie about him recently. Its strange to think he's often best known for his part in John Lennon's so- called lost weekend period. When I saw the Nilsson movie I knew I was hooked and I was soon on ebay looking for some of his records. This is the one he recorded with John Lennon as producer. Two standout tracks for me are 'Many rivers to cross' and ' Don't forget me', favorite lyric ' When we 're older and full of cancer' ......
